Our Staff

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Our entire staff totals 163 years in the dental field and averages over 11 years per member working with Dr. Sheinis. His team members take great pride in their jobs.. Successful orthodontic treatment requires a team effort by all. We promise our best to make sure that each patient has an enjoyable orthodontic experience.

Barbara - Office Coordinator

Barbara is from Missouri and has lived in South Florida for 19 years. Whenever you call or stop at the front desk, you will be sure to hear and see her pleasant personality. With over 15 years in the orthodontic field, Barbara also teaches "dental office management" at Broward College Dental Assisting Program. Barbara has 2 grown children and on the weekends you'll find Barbara at many athletic activities. She loves to bowl, golf and participates as well as runs a women's softball league. We know that Barbara's dedication will enhance your relationship with our office.

Mary Anne - Scheduling Coordinator

A native Brooklyn New Yorker, Mary Anne has worked with Dr. Sheinis for over 11 years. She is always glad to help schedule your appointment at a convenient date and time. If a procedure needs to be rescheduled, you can expect prompt service or a reminder. Mary Anne has 2 grandchildren and loves to spend her free time reading, crocheting and shopping.

Hope - Insurance Coordinator

Hope has worked in the dental field for 34 years, 12 years as a dental hygienist and 22 in dental/orthodontic insurance. Her expertise allows her to find the best way to coordinate insurance benefits for our patients. She has been with Dr. Sheinis for 8 years. Originally from Long Island, New York, Hope has called Parkland her home for almost 10 years. When not at the office, her hobbies include watching soap operas, traveling and playing with her 2 maltese dogs.

Loretta - Treatment Coordinator

With over 25 years in the dental field and 16 years with Dr. Sheinis, it is only natural that Loretta's career is complimented by her personality and love for children. She has a great knowledge of orthodontic treatment and what works best for each patient. Her 3 sons and 2 beautiful grandaughters keep her busy but she never misses an FlU football game, where she enthusiastically cheers her youngest son on to victory. When there is time left, she loves gardening,pilates and working with young cancer patients.

EIi - Certified Clinical Assistant

A native South Floridian, Eli has been a longtime valuable chairside assistant with Dr. Sheinis for 17 years. When she's not working on creating smiles, you can find her riding on the back of her husband's motorcycle. Eli also enjoys crafts, gardening, shopping and hanging with her black labrador. She loves when former patients stop by to say hello.

Mariana - Certified Clinical Assistant

Mariana has been a dedicated.employee of Dr. Sheinis for many years and in orthodontics for over 28 years. With her positive and enthusiastic outlook, she takes great pride in creating beautiful smiles. In her spare time, Mariana loves going to art festivals with her husband, son and daughter and baking. New York was her original home years ago but she enjoys our South Florida weather now.

Ali - Certified Clinical Assistant

Ali has over 20 years of experience in the orthodontic field. She grew up in Miami and during football season you may find her at a Miami Dolphin football game. Ali also enjoys yoga, reading and visits from her nephews. She is very passionate about her job of helping to create smiles.

Helen - Certified Clinical Assistant

Helen loves meeting the new patients and getting to know them. She was a patient of Dr. Sheinis herself and she credits the experience to motivating her to go into the orthodontic field. Helen feels our patients are just like family and treats them as such. The family at home consists of her husband and 2 teenage boys. It's easy to see how much Helen enjoys her work. Our patients love her happy disposition.

Leigh - Certified Clinical Assistant & Treatment Coordinator

Originally from New York, Leigh has been a South Florida resident for over 20 years. She has also been in the dental field for over 20 years and been with Dr. Sheinis for 6 years. When not spending time with her husband, son and daughter she loves to read or shop. Leigh also donates her time to volunteer work at her daughter's classroom. Creating beautiful smiles has become a true passion.
